The successful candidate will be joining one of three groups: manufacturing group, R&D group or customer support group. The manufacturing group is responsible for solid-state laser based manufacturing, and manufacture engineering including standard, as well as customized laser products; the R&D group is responsible for new product development, as well as existing product improvement; the customer support group is responsible for supporting our worldwide customers and distribution network including email, phone, and field service support.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for building Diode-Pumped Solid-State lasers, optics assembly, and optics sub-assembly working with laser crystals and cleaning optics parts. The candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and good at working with their hands with small parts. The candidate will work from method sheets, service manuals and follow directions from manufacturing engineering. Some travel relating to field service may be required.

Requirements:

Entry level. The candidate should possess an AA degree or higher in Electronics/Lasers or in a related field. Experience with lasers and optics and/or the ability to use test equipment (microscopes, alignment lasers, oscilloscopes, photodiodes, beam analyzers, etc.) is preferred, but we will train motivated candidates.
