Photonics Industries Ships Highest Power Commercially Available 70 Watt Green Mode locked Picosecond Laser for Industrial Applications

Photonics Industries International, Inc. has shipped to its customer in Japan the first of several 70W 532nm TEM₀₀ (M²<1.1) Pico second laser from our new PS line of high power Modelocked Pico second lasers.

For the PS series, up to 120W in the IR (1064nm) can be converted to up to 80W in the green (532 nm) or 30W UV (355nm) or 10W DUV (266nm), while still maintaining the TEM₀₀ mode quality. The repetition rate mode locked fixed at 80MHz and the pulse width is <25 ps.

Such high power pico second lasers enable a host of novel emerging applications that demand the higher peak powers achievable from such commercial grade pico second lasers.
