† Twin Pulse mode is a patented feature enabling pulse pair generation with adjustable timing and energy control from a single head.
OVERVIEW
Photonics Industries’ DM Series green nanosecond Nd:YAG lasers deliver high average powers, up to 200 W from a single head, and 400 W in Dual Head format within a rugged and compact platform. These systems use a proprietary, single-resonator design optimized for research and industrial use, including PIV, laser thermal processing, and annealing applications.
TECHNOLOGICALLY SUPERIOR
With a <1% service call rate over the past 24 months, the DM Series demonstrates proven reliability and long-term performance. For applications requiring higher pulse energy or sub-microsecond dual pulses, the Dual Head configuration enables double the output with fully independent control.
COMPACT, INTEGRATED DESIGN
-
Laser head features a built-in driver, eliminating signal loss from long umbilicals
-
All system functions are controlled via a software GUI over RS232 or Ethernet
-
Power supply is reduced to a 2U rack-mount unit, featuring an easily accessible Emergency Off switch
-
Dual Head units now support automated beam alignment via software—no manual adjustments required
-
Rapid system start-up: <5 min from standby, <10 min from cold start
