Technical Sales & Marketing Specialist – EMEA
About the Role
Photonix is expanding its operations in the EMEA region and is establishing a presence in the Netherlands. We are seeking a Technical Sales & Marketing Specialist to support both commercial and technical activities.
This role combines customer-facing work with internal collaboration across engineering, sales, and marketing teams. The position is office-based and focused on supporting growth within the EU market.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support during sales discussions and customer interactions
- Prepare and review technical documentation, presentations, and proposals
- Communicate product capabilities and application use cases clearly and accurately
- Support marketing activities, including technical content and product materials
- Conduct market analysis and monitor industry developments in the EMEA region
- Assist with trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer visits
- Relay customer feedback to internal engineering teams
Requirements
- Background in a technical field (engineering, physics, photonics, or related)
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a structured manner
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
- Proficiency in English
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or similar role
- Experience working with B2B technical products
- Familiarity with European markets is advantageous
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of photonics, optics, or related technologies
- Additional European language skills
- Experience with CRM systems or structured sales processes
- Ability to work in a developing and evolving team environment
